DOCBOOK-APPS: Using Fop for PDF

Hi,

I am trying to convert a valid Docbook file into PDF
using the latest version of FOP, but I keep habing
errors. This is my first try with XSL-FO, but not a
successful one.

Also, I used Saxon 7 through XML Spy.

Could anyone tell me. I used the the styleheets as is
(also I tried to change the FOD parameter to 1 to enable
it, but same result).

Could somebody give me the precise steps to go through
all this please (especially using Saxon and FOP) ?
