The error message about no template named
'component.separator' is correct, in that the
template was removed from 1.60.0. It was only
an empty placeholder template, no longer even mentioned
on the fo side because the titlepage.templates stuff
takes its place. So you could delete
references to it from your customization,
or declare an empty template by that name.

Norm disabled the feature that causes this error in
FOP in version 1.60.1 which is due out shortly.
