Tim, if you want me to have a look into why the installation of the pdf files failed, I would need a pointer from where I should start my investigations and what is tested for. I guess that the test doesn't find passivetex. BTW: I'm using Cygwin.

Otherwise I leave this for Marcel Telka who's maintaining the Cygwin port of your tool.

Yes, copy the pdf format script in and it should work.

xmlto --help is implemented using 'ls'. :-)


Where would I have to look to figure out why pdf wasn't installed in the first place? And do you have any idea why it failed to do so?
