According to the bugzilla reports,
this problem has been reported and fixed before in xsltproc,
but it is broken again in the current version.

I did, Bugzilla bug # 119583, filed 10 August.
He hasn't gotten around to fixing it yet.

Daniel, any estimate of when it might be fixed?
