Re: [docbook-apps] DocBook and XMetaL

Is there anybody out there using DocBook in connection with the XMetaL 4 Editor (Author/Developer)?

If yes, can you tell me what to do/customize to make the graphics and inline graphics appear on the screen during editing (as it is in the enclosed example)? I can only see blue diamonds so far...

You must tell XMetaL to treat it as a graphics. E.g. using XMetaL Developer you must open CTM file (probably docbookx.ctm). And then for elements graphic, inlinegraphic and imagedata do following:

1. Select element
2. In a Properties window set Treat As Property to "Image element"
3. dtto Source property to "fileref"
4. Same way you can width and depth attributes from DocBook to XM properties
