Re: [docbook-apps] ooo2dbk : From OpenOffice.org to DocBook

Fine -- both of these I have.

Tell me I'm wrong, someone.

yes you are ;)

in the case of OpenOffice.org,
shutdown OOo
launch the <ooo>/program/jvmsetup program and specify your JRE

Aah. If only. Sadly -- I have NO 'jvmsetup' anywhere at all on my system. Not nohow.

However -- I DO have an <ooo>/program/setup, which, when I run it, gives me a helpful-looking dialogue box offering two choices:
a) Repair OpenOffice
b) Re-install OpenOffice.

Oh, and there IS a third option: 'Modify your current installation' --
BUT -- it's greyed out, and so can't be used. :(

OK -- thanks for all the help; but I've now blown the whole lot away, and am re-starting from scratch.

Cheers,
