pdfjadetex w/ pdftex 14.c

I am using the cygnus docbook rpms:
jadetex-2.3-1
jade-1.2.1-2
docbook-3.0-8
psgml-1.0.3-1
sgml-common-0.1-2
stylesheets-0.8-3
I am also using pdftex 14.c and hyperref 6.66g
When I try tpo run db2pdf I get the following error:
[tporter@vasili tporter]$ pdfjadetex lame.tex
This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159-14c (Web2C 7.3.1)
(Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)
[tporter@vasili tporter]$
pdflatex and ConTeXt work fine. Is there a format file I have to rebuild, or
might the new docbook rpms fix this?
