Konrad, fortunately your problems are all of a kind that is easy to
solve. PSGML-mode also has a "hide markup" option in the menus
somewhere (I forget the keystroke :-)).
WYSIWYG rendering would be quite nice, as would FM+SGML's structure
view. But I am much faster at authoring with emacs+PSGML, because I
don't have to look for things to click.
