Something I've been looking into. A lot of people seem to have roughly
the same idea, though they handle it differently. One group you might
like to look at are http://sds.yi.org/, though the software they've
devleoped at http://sourceforge.net is too complex. Of course the GNU
stable are having a go too, at http://sunsite.auc.dk/GUIDE/ but they
don't seem to be getting very far.
IMHO Docbook is the way to go (or some subset/derivative of it). What I
would like to see is a development tool which incorporates planning and
documentation -- with the focus on these rather than coding. Daniel
Brahneborg <basic@well.com> has been working on something based on UML,
which seems quite pervasive now; but I'm not sure about the graphics
based approach. I'd be interested to know of any other current
activity, but it's probably better to e-mail me off-list if you know of
anything.
