1/2 working install?

Hi all,

I'm new to Docbook and I've installed it all with Mandrake 8 RPMs. I copied a
simple test docbook file out of a tutorial and tried to run docbook2html on
it, but got errors:
----
Using catalogs: /etc/sgml/sgml-docbook-4.1.cat
Using stylesheet: /usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6/docbook-utils.dsl#html
Working on: /home/tom/temp/test.docbook
jade:/usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6/docbook-utils.dsl:5:73:W: cannot
generate system identifier for public text "-//James Clark//DTD DSSSL Style
Sheet//EN"
jade:/usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6/docbook-utils.dsl:9:96:W: cannot
generate system identifier for public text "-//Norman Walsh//DOCUMENT DocBook
HTML Stylesheet//EN"
jade:/usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6/docbook-utils.dsl:15:0:E: reference to
entity "STYLE-SHEET" for which no system identifier could be generated
etcetera etcetera. I won't bore you with more errors.
----
*However*, if I run :

jade -t sgml -d
/usr/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl-stylesheets-1.62/html/docbook.dsl test.docbook

I get a nice book1.htm file that works nicely.

I'm still trying to understand everything here, but how can I get the
docbook2html (& related scripts such as 2pdf and 2ps) configuration fixed?
Where is that script looking for files and

Hope someone can help me understand.... (Please cc to me if possible - I've
checked out the archives but I'm not subscribed to the list)

Thanks,
Tom
