By extension I presume you'd advocate
<parameter><type>hglue</type> <varname>tube</varname></parameter>
for each parameter of the 900 funcdefs? (That's 2250 occurences to edit;
but, at least, they're all consistent in not using type at the moment.)
Except that the parameter style isn't orthogonal with the function.
(Unless I drop the varname?)
