I do think you have some reasonable points. What I'd like
to see are the details, perhaps in one of the generic drivers,
along with testing results, etc. I simply don't have the
time to implement these changes (and I don't know of anyone
else who does at the moment), thus the plea for patches.
Discussion of this sort normally takes place on our development
mailing list (copied) as well.
Thanks for your interest in eCos. I'm sure that we can
make good use of your time and efforts :-)
