At this time, we don't know of any ports to the 8260. The framework for
supporting PPC 60x processors is in place, but there are no targets which
currently use them.
To port eCos to the 8260 you would need to flesh out the 603 support as
well as incorporate the advanced I/O features (the QUICC support is fairly
separate but there are differences between the PPC 8xx and the 8260).
You can do this work yourselves - we encourage it and of course would like
to have the results donated back to our main repository. Alternatively it
might make sense for you to work with Red Hat to contract for this support.
