Hi folk
I'm a student of engineering of Bologna (Italy) and I am working with
systems linux embedded
In order to begin I am compiling redboot for a system i386
I have get the current version of eCos packages via CVS version 1.3
I type the following in RedHat 7.1
ecosconfig new pc redboot
ecosconfig import ../i386/pc/...../redboot_FLOPPY.ecm
make
I 've successfully compiled both redboot.bin & redboot.elf
Redboot runs from a floppy disk on 486 pc
I wanted to try to load through the serial port a program
hello world in the RAM with the PC on which it turns redboot.
I 've a problem whith load :
load -m xmodem -b 0x00080700
following is the message
CCCCCCCCCççççççççCan't load 'A ' :Timed Out
I send fileexe(hello) whith command
sz --xmodem hello < /dev/ttyS0 > /dev/ttyS0
How I can resolve this my problem?
Thanks in advance and regards
Carlo
