eCos for TMS320C6x DSP

Hi,
We are thinking about porting eCos to the TI TMS320C6x family of DSPs.
Whilst we have experience of porting eCos, I understand that this port will
be complicated by the fact that this DSP family does not have a gcc/g++
toolchain.
So, I was wondering:
1) Has anyone else tried (succeeded?) in porting eCos to the TI TMS320C6x
family of DSPs?
2) Alternatively, has anyone ported eCos using a non-gcc/c++ toolchain?
Any advice is welcome!
