Hello,
I've run into a problem with my XScale board with redboot. The ethernet
doesn't seem to be working.
I am using the most current version of the redboot binary supplied by RedHat.
It is located here:
http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/boards/redbootbins/iq80310/
I am using "redboot_ROM.bin" in particular.
When I turn the board on, the following is dumped to the serial port:
------------------------------------------------------
+FLASH: 0x00000000 - 0x00800000, 64 blocks of 0x00020000 bytes each.
No network interfaces found
RedBoot(tm) bootstrap and debug environment - built 15:45:17, Apr 10 2001
Platform: IQ80310 (XScale)
Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, Red Hat, Inc.
RAM: 0xa0000000-0xa2000000, 0xa0019d98-0xa1fd0000 available
------------------------------------------------------
You can see on the second line "No network interfaces found". There is no
link LED upon startup, however:
I can run the "diag" command and test the ethernet port (test 10) and
everything passes.
It may be my board revision. According to the diag menu (option 19), my
board is:
------------------------------------------------------
Board Revision = F
CPLD Revision = D
80200 Revision ID = 0x69052000
80312 Revision ID = 1
------------------------------------------------------
Has anybody been able to get the ethernet to work with redboot on the Rev F
board? I'm stuck.
Thanks,
-Rich
