hi,
I am not sure about my DHCP startup,
Can anyone compare with a fine working setup
(i have still out-of-mbufs)
is it ok, having
1) client IP: 0.0.0.0 and gateway IP: 0.0.0.0
^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^
2) there are 3 different gateway addresses
there are 2 different network masks
- i must admit that i am a little confused
which is the one that is used.
i am getting the following from my DHCP server:
BOOTP[eth0] op: REPLY
htype: Ethernet
hlen: 6
hops: 0
xid: 0xba18650d
secs: 0
flags: 0x8000
hw_addr: 00:01:bb:00:18:ba
client IP: 0.0.0.0
my IP: 172.16.192.21
server IP: 172.16.0.22
gateway IP: 0.0.0.0
options:
DHCP message: 5 ACK
DHCP server id: 172.16.0.22
DHCP time 51: 2592000
subnet mask: 255.255.0.0
gateway: 172.16.4.1
domain server: 172.16.1.2, 172.17.1.1, 172.16.1.1
domain name: frequentis.frq
Route - dst: 127.0.0.0, mask: 255.0.0.0, gateway: 127.0.0.1
thanks, best regards, christoph
