Note that if you are using the current synthetic target sources from
anoncvs there is no need to build special tools (at least, not unless
for some reason you are cross-compiling). Instead the versions of gcc,
gdb, etc. as shipped with a recent Linux distribution, for example Red
Hat 7.x should be fine. By default eCos will be built using these
existing tools, although this can be changed by a configuration
option.
