I am trying to port eCos 2.0 for CS89712 processor and eval board CDB89712 from Cirrus Logic. I have a very old patch that I am trying to use. The question is that about the memory layout. For EDB7312, for example ram portion (file: mlt_arm_edb7312_ram.h) see attached. Now I need to convert the mlt_arm_cdb89712_ram. file see attached to look like the 7312 but I am not sure how to calculate or convert the #define CYGMEM_SECTION_heap1_SIZE (0xfd0000 - (size_t) CYG_LABEL_NAME (__heap1)) I am not sure where the 0xfd0000 came from can anyone help me on this issue? Many Thanks Ray B.
