ping_test program not working

Dear community,
I am using ecos config tool 2.03, with latest CVS ecos.
For i386-pc on windows2000 using redboot.
I have built the net package without any errors. Now I need to test
the demo examples.
In the process, when I am executing the ping_test example, it is not
responding, instead it is giving the following message
>Start PING test
>Remote communication error: Connection reset by peer.
kindly help me in this regard.
