- Subject: [ECOS] errors in ecos patch again...
Hello:
I really egt some serious troublein install the whole ecos.
I use the "ecos-latest.tar.gz" that file from the net at 24 oct 2002.
I use tar xzvf to extreact it in the program files\ red hat this folder
and i install the ecso configTool 2.11 fromthe net
when i run the configTools, and i want ot apply Thomas Koeller patch
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/ecos-patches/2002-10/msg00008.html
but it just show the error message below:
>> Command exexution erroe:
>>
>> extracting pkgadd.db:
>> coundn't execute "gunzip": no such file or directory?
and I wonder how to apply Tim Drury patch in window?
because his patch isnot in epk form??
I get some answer from this mail list to tell me that use the latest cvs
will solve this problem, and i use cygwin in the
program files\ red hat that folder and use the comment below
cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@sources.redhat.com:/cvs/ecos co -P ecos
but after updating, the probel still exist.
So i wonder what is the real problem??
because when i wantto build a test on the redboot into the eb55, it
alwasy problem while the simulation
i update with the cvs and it will give me different error again.
I wonder is it the normal thing i that need to deal with under the
windows??
could you tell you detail how you can install the ecos for eb40 or
eb55??
thank you
max
