Have you read the documentation? There's lots of good stuff
out there, including a "Getting Started Guide". Check out
http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/docs-latest/
Alternatively, you can look at
http://www.mlbassoc.com/examples/build_hello.html
for a cookbook approach on building a first, simple eCos program.
