file open error

The ecos version I am using is 2.0. I am using Synthetic Linux as a target
machine.The file system of linux is ext3. I do not know about mounting any
file system for ecos so please help me on that. I used the gdb to run the
program and the program exits with a segmentation fault while executing the
"fopen" command. The file to be opened does exist. I tried to debug the
program and I found the error on this line "lock_fs(mte)".
