Don't know about Kaffe sorry. Things like buffer sizes in the TCP/IP stack
are configurable too, at the expense of performance and/or determinism, so
that depends too :-).
2) Is it possible to integrate some .o in the makefile without having the
sources (.c)?
Just add the .o on your application's link line?
