ECOS 2.0 ported to any 8-bit processors/microcontrollers?

Hi,

This is my first post to this list. I've been checking around but I can't find an authoritative answer, so I thought I would ask here. Please Forgive me if this question is stupid or that I somehow missed something in my searching. My question is: Has anyone ported eCos to any 8-bit microprocessors/microcontrollers. I'm playing around with an 8-bit microcontroller right now and have been looking to port RedBoot, but I can't find anything similiar on the net. The impression I get is ECOS is a 16-bit and above RTOS. Is this correct?
