Hello,
Does anyone out there have advice or can point me to a place where I can
find help/information on using EPI's MAJIC JTAG probe with eCos on GDB?
I am aware of the the need for MDIserver for use with GDB due to the
differences in the API for GDB and MDI.
My goal is to have a robust JTAG environment with eCos(EDB7312 board) with
GDB through MDI.
If there is anyone with experience with MAJIC JTAG and eCos in the cygwin
environment that would recommend EDB with eCos or third party tools through
the MDI interface, please inform.
This may have some of the same issues as the Jeeni. Search the mail archives:

although the MDIserver probably solves most of those.
You won't be able to do eCos thread debugging though (e.g. "info threads"
in GDB).
