makemakefile 'current' path creation problem...

Greetings,
I just dowloaded v2_0 and am having difficulty generating PDF versions
of the html document.
When I run the makemakefile I notice that the generated paths in the
makefile is still .../current/...
Shouldn't it be changed to .../v2_0/... ?
The makefile complains that it can't find any files in the
.../current/... paths.
BTW - I'm running RedHat 9.0
