Poor performance of new TCP stack?

Comparing the nc_test results for new/old stacks looks good for
the new stack (up to 20% improvement on some tests). But, in a
real life application, the performance of the new stack is
pretty bad (so far). Using the old stack, the fetch time for my
web page is 3.3s. With the new stack it takes 10s.

Any ideas why the new stack performs so poorly with the goAhead
web server?

This is on an Samsung S3C4510 ARM7 platform, if it matters...
