Can eCos startup from BOOTLDR(linux bootlder)?

I already set the CYGSEM_HAL_USE_ROM_MONITOR to the false condition by
changing thd CDL to {user_value 0 ""} ,but I can't use the bootldr to
startup eCos.
I make an image of eCos and set the startup mode to "RAM".
My platform:IPAQ
boot loader: Compaq OHH BootLoader, Rev 2-20-4 [BIG_KERNEL] [MD5] [MONO]
My step as fallow:

1. connect the IPAQ by the serial port,then use the command of the bootldr
to transfer the image

  boot> load ram 0x100000
  ready for YMODEM transfer...
  5D085B1F1A1B5562D9ECA65843495572
  0001154C bytes loaded to 0010007A

2.boot from ram

   boot> boot addr 0x100000 0x1154C
    kernel partition base C0008000
    kernel_magic=EBFFFF99
    kernel_region_words[9]=E1A00004
    Unrecognized kernel image

How to solve the problem?

Thanks for reading
