A non-disclosure agreement is a legal document that you and some
other party sign (bind to). The purpose is to allow sharing of
information between the parties, with the proviso that the information
is not released to third parties except by the owner of that
information. Companies often require this before allowing access
to important information, certainly for items that are not public.
In your case, you'd need to be talking with 3Com. If you don't have
a contact there, try starting with whomever sold you the hardware.
