- Subject: [ECOS] IXP420 Linux Kernel problems
Hi,
I am working on a XSCALE IXP420 based board.
I got the redboot working using the prpmc1100!! templates from ecos.
when I load the kernel, it goes as far as printing init! and then it
hangs.
I tried loading a ramdisk, but then the upload either stops in the middle
of it or if it loads all the file, it doesnt do anything
I am suspecting a problem with the load addresses for the kernel and the
ramdisk. are there anyways i can print out the memory map from within the
kernel.I am thinking redboot is printing bogus address range.
Regards
