While trying to debug why I was not able to get an IP
address using do_bootp, I discovered that the do_bootp
routine does NOT set the broadcast flag in the flags
field of the bootp protocol header. This is required
per the BOOTP protocol.
I corrected the problem by adding the following
statement in the do_bootp routine just before transmitting
the BOOTP_REQUEST packet.
bootp_xmit.bp_flags = htons(0x8000); // BROADCAST FLAG
Can this fix be rolled into the CVS repository? Thanks.
