- Subject: [ECOS] i386 PCMB disk driver available
Hello,
I have written a low level disk driver for i386 PC mother boards. What I
did was take the CYGPKG_DEVS_DISK_V85X_EDB_V850 disk driver and port it
to the i386 PCMB using the redboot IDE driver as a reference..
I have not tested this extensively but it seems to work. With a FAT16
file system on my IDE flash disk I am able to mount it from within eCos.
I then can create/open/read/write files/directories on the flash disk. I
wrote it to support up four disks (2 controllers * 2 drives).
I would be happy to submit this if the eCos keepers are interested.
