Re: gdb/insight problem

Hi Jifl,
Yes. The program is definitely running and we are sure we connected in the firts
place (using File->Target Setup) and set up as a Remote/TCP target, with
the appropriate board's IP address/name.
That shared library warning is something I've seen elsewhere, and it's not
been a problem before. Have you tried command line GDB?

Hi All,
We encountered a problem when trying to debug an eCos application.
We use Rattler-MPC8248 target from Analogue & Micro company.
In powerpc-eabi-insight when we connects to target we receives the
warning "shared library handler failed to enable breakpoint"
Indeed, we cannot set breakpoints in the code, or single-step. The
program just keeps running.
The program is definitely running? Are you sure you connected in the firts
place (using File->Target Setup) and set up as a Remote/TCP target, with
the board's IP address/name?
