- Subject: [ECOS] How and where does one configure the serial port settings for Redboot
Hello,
I am trying to understand how Redboot sets up its serial port connections
for terminal access. I have an IXP425 custom board with 1 UART. On the
IXP425 this is called the console UART as opposed to the other high speed
UART. The board receives its firmware image fine (I can flash the board
through the JTAG port), but am at loss at getting the Redboot console. I
have looked at all of the web sources of information but am at a loss..
can someone advise me how to proceed further?
Thanks!
Krishna
