ld problem

Hello,
I have the following:
$ arm-elf-gcc --version
arm-elf-gcc (GCC) 3.2.1
Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO
warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
and
$ arm-elf-ld --version
GNU ld version 2.13.1
Copyright 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This program is free software; you may redistribute it under the terms of
the GNU General Public License. This program has absolutely no warranty.
and a cpp program. After making some method virtual, I get the following
ld error:
*** glibc detected *** malloc(): memory corruption: 0x087066f0 ***
collect2: ld terminated with signal 6 [Aborted], core dumped
Any ideas?
