Re: Getting and compiling ECOS or is there an archive?

Your real problem seems to be that you're trying to build a
normal application using a tree built using the RedBoot template.
Please reread the example and note that it starts from scratch
which is what you need to do.

I decided to started from scratch (a very good idea thanks). My board has an old version of Redboot so I thought I'd update it. Here's what I'm getting:

RedBoot> version

RedBoot(tm) bootstrap and debug environment [RAM]
Non-certified release, version UNKNOWN - built 13:05:49, Mar 20 2005

Platform: Atmel AT91/EB40A (ARM7TDMI)
Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 Red Hat, Inc.

RAM: 0x00000000-0x00040000, [0x00020340-0x00040000] available
FLASH: 0x01000000 - 0x01200000, 32 blocks of 0x00010000 bytes each.
RedBoot> x -b %{FREEMEMLO} -l 0x200
** Error: invalid number '%{FREEMEMLO}' for base address

Sorry for all the troubles but I think the wall is starting
to soften up. ;-)
