select() problem in lwip stack

Subject: [ECOS] select() problem in lwip stack

Hi all,
Can any one please tell me is there any difference in working of
select() function in FREE BSD stack and in lwip stack or is there any
difference in contexts in which we can call select() in lwip stack and
in free bsd stack.
If any body amongst you people has any information in this regard please
inform me ASAP .
