Dileep,
eCos/Redboot does not support the e500 core used in the MPC85xx family of
processors. Analogue-Micro has an eval board you can purchase that comes
with a snapshot of eCos/redboot that does support the e500 core. For some
reason, their port has never been submitted for integration in to the eCos
repository.

Subject: Redboot support for MPC8555
Hi All,
Is redboot is different for different architecture.?
I have ecos-2.0b1 code. Now I want to port eCos on MPC8555.Could you
please tell me whether the redboot code available with ecos2.0b1
supports MPC8555 or not?
Thanks
Dileep Kumar
