In the file ecos\packages\redboot\current\src\fconfig.c, I added this to have the serial number:
#ifdef CYGSEM_REDBOOT_SERIAL_NUMBER
RedBoot_config_option("Serial number",
serial_number,
ALWAYS_ENABLED, true,
CONFIG_INT,
0
);
#endif
I think the order is just the order in which those calls to "RedBoot_config_option" happen.
