I just tried it here - on an Adder (PowerPC 852T) and CerfCube
(StrongARM 1110) and it worked perfectly for a 5MB image.
If there's a problem, I'd like to see it though.
Here's a viper redboot upgrade:
garibaldi:~/ecos/obj/powerpc/viper-redboot$ cksum install/bin/redboot.bin
3844061083 154300 install/bin/redboot.bin
garibaldi:~/ecos/obj/powerpc/viper-redboot$
Same loaded in srec format via tftp over ethernet:
RedBoot> cksum
Computing cksum for area 0x00100000-0x00125abc
POSIX cksum = 3376784575 154300 (0xc945a4bf 0x00025abc)
RedBoot>
I just tried it on a different Linux host and it gives the same cksum, so
I guess it is redboot.
It would be very odd if it was viper specific too.
