The host-side has had a lot of work done in the last couple of weeks,
some of which overlaps with your patch. The code currently in CVS
should now build cleanly on x86_64 linux as well as on 32-bit linux
and cygwin. However I have not done full testing on x86_64. If you
want to try the latest code and run into problems, please let me know.
Also note that host/configure will only build ecosconfig, not the
graphical configtool.
