I encountered two uses of the term "RS/6000" while working on the 64-bit
AIX support:
(1) the IBM platform;
(2) the architecture used to implement the RS/6000 platform prior to the
introduction of PowerPC.
Can you be more specific about which messages seem confusing? Are you
referring to the variants[].description fields? They're not actually used
anywhere at the moment, but I'd like to fix them if they're misleading.
