If I am not mistaken we have agreed (informally) that both methods are
acceptable and submitting in one format or the other accordingly to the
maintainer's preference was more a question of courtesy, not a requirement.
Some others prefer it the way you sent, so don't bother changing your default
unless you yourself prefers context diffs as well.

We all thank you for the testsuite cleanups.
P.S.: Let me think a little bit if there is a better way to skip the
C++ tests. If not, we add your patch with a big FIXME, OK?
