The FSF (http://www.fsf.org) own's the code to GDB. Anyone contributing
a significant change should sign a statement to the effect that they
transfer the copyright of that change to the FSF.
While a bit of a pain, it is alsy very important that this be done
right. You'll get a separate e-mail on how to go about organising an
FSF assignment.
