Oh, I think I misunderstood. You have in mind this:
(gdb) print foo()
[switching thread to xyz]
Breakpoint 2 in foo ()
(gdb) print bar()
not this:
(gdb) print foo ()
breakpoint 2 in foo()
(gdb) thread xyz
(gdb) print bar()
right?
