That Earnie -- he's always a stickler for details like sending patches
to the right list.

The concept of the patch is acceptable but there are a couple of things
wrong with the patch.  1) It doesn't seem to be a valid patch in that
there is *long* section in the middle of it which has no preceding "diff
characters".  It seems like it was probably hand edited.  2) It does not
follow GNU coding conventions <http://www.gnu.org/prep/standards.html>.
3) You'll need to fill out a standard assignment from the FSF to transfer
ownership of your patch to the FSF.

The last one is a hassle, I know, but if you plan on making future changes
to gdb, it's only painful once.

I hope that the person responsible for doling out the assignment forms
will be contacting you soon.
