[commit] Add testsuite for extern "C" functions

- Subject: [commit] Add testsuite for extern "C" functions
I've checked in this simple test. I got a report that this was broken
on a different GDB source tree (the bug doesn't affect mainline), but
it seemed like the sort of thing we ought to have a test for!
Tested on x86_64-linux, checked in.
