make_cleanup_ui_file_delete is gone on my
users/palves/cxx-eliminate-cleanups
branch. But before posting that I need to propose making
use of gnulib's C++ namespace support. And before that, I
need to actually fix gnulib'c C++ namespace support...
FWIW, I read the patches and both LGTM.
