>Organization:
>Environment:
Compaq XP1000 running Tru64 UNIX V5.1
configured with CC=cc configure --disable-nls alpha-dec-osf5.1
>Description:
Even after
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/binutils/2001-07/msg00527.html
has been applied, gdb still fails to compile:
cc: Error: /vol/gnu/src/gdb/src/gdb/alpha-nat.c, line 101: In the initializer for core_reg_mapping[0], "EF_V0" is not declared. (undeclared)
EF_V0, EF_T0, EF_T1, EF_T2, EF_T3, EF_T4, EF_T5, EF_T6,
----^
There has been at least one patch for this
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/gdb-patches/2001-05/msg00159.html
but for unknown reasons it has not been checked in, leaving
gdb 5.1 unusable on Tru64 UNIX V5.1.
>How-To-Repeat:
See `Environment' above: configure; make
>Fix:
Apply existing patch(es) to CVS.
